Welcome to Fallbrook Gem & Mineral Society

Our Free Museum and Gift Shop are Open Friday 11am - 3pm & Saturday 10am - 4pm.
Our membership meetings are held at the Fallbrook Gem & Mineral Society meeting room (123 W. Alvarado Street, Fallbrook) at 7 pm on the 2nd Thursday of the month September-May, except for the 3rd Thursday in February.

FGMS was founded in 1957. We are a group of individuals who share common interests in gems, minerals, jewelry, geology, paleontology and the related earth sciences and lapidary arts. The Society is based in Fallbrook, San Diego County, California -- just a "stone's throw" from some of the most productive gem mining areas in the United States.

You won't believe what we've been hiding in Fallbrook!

On Sunday, November 27th, Lea Barton led folks out to the fossil oyster beds ... and everyone had a great time collecting fossils not only for themselves but also for the club to put into fossil grab bags - the kids just love them!!!
If you want to learn how to clean these oyster fossils, contact Lea about joining a work party.
If you want to help make grab bags, contact Gina Palculich or come by FGMS on Thursdays to join in the fun!

Volunteers improving adjacent lot!

An additional concrete pad was poured so that FGMS can erect two more matching gazebos!
This will provide covered shade for events such as the Rough 'N Cut and other club activities.
Much thanks goes to Fred Rasp for doing such a superb job!
